Footloose stuff starts tomorrow. It hangs and focuses all this week. Cue building friday, tech starts saturday. I'm the light board op. Except we got a new board and none of us know how to do any of the fancy stuff on it... like control moving lights. Oh yeah it's a very moving light heavy show. Oh boy. We're only 90 percent sure our second followspot is getting time off. The lighting designer told me that the worst case scenario was that I would run spot and press go at the same time, which is possible, albeit tough. I would have laughed except I know he was serious. Happy fun times. At least I'm getting paid this year.

Had a fun Fourth of July. It started out slow but then I went and hung out with a coworker and his family at his sister's house. Got to play with three young girls and had a very redneck style evening. Nothing better than hotdogs and sitting in plastic chairs in the middle of the street watching fireworks. It was a good night.
